PURPOSE:To recognize an abnormality easily by an operator even when a power source is broken after the abnormality in a moving condition of a moving material to be detected by adding a power source monitor means, an unvolatile memory means capable of electrically writing and a control means. CONSTITUTION:Before an operator recognizes an abnormality, when a power source is broken by any reason, an alternating current power source monitor circuit 1 generates a power source breaking signal of 'yes' and informs to a control circuit 5 that the power source is broken. The control circuit 5 designates a memory circuit 3 to write an abnormal signal. The processing is performed within a time after a power source breaking signal E goes to 'yes' until a secondary side direct current power of a facsimile equipment is extinguished and which is determined by a time constant of a power source rectifier circuit. When the power source is closed again, the control circuit 5 designates to read the abnormal signal stored in the memory circuit 3 in accordance with with the power source breaking signal E of 'low', and the read abnormal signal is transferred to a display circuit 4 and the contents of the abnormality is displayed again.
