PURPOSE:To perform the reduction in the size and the acceleration of a rotary electric machine and to improve medicine resistance by binding a commutator and coil ends with high strength glass fiber impregnated with thermoset resin. CONSTITUTION:When glass fiber is wound on a commutator bar 3 to bind it, high strength glass fiber like T glass (trade name of Nitto Boseki Co., Ltd.) is used as the glass fiber 5. The glass fiber is preferably used also as a binding glass fiber wound on coil ends. Thermoset resin is impregnated with the fiber 5 and hardened. Thus, the reliability of a rotary electric machine under special environments can be improved. |
