PURPOSE:To obtain a bobbin of high heat resistance, heat radiation and workability by coating by a plating layer carrying a needle like crystal such as silicon carbide whisker, silicon nitride whisker, silicon boron whisker at least any surface of both surfaces of an internal and an external peripheral surfaces of a bobbin main body 1 cylindrically formed by a single substance of a light metal or an alloy of the light metal. CONSTITUTION:At least any surface of an internal or an external peripheral surfaces of a bobbin main body 1a cylindrically formed by a single substance of a light metal or an alloy of the light metal is coated by a plating layer 1b carrying a needle like crystal 3 such as silicon carbide whisker, silicon nitride whisker, silicon bron whisker. For instance, a full cleaning and an activation are performed on the bobbin main body 1a cylindrically formed by aluminum. then, a plating solution obtained by mixing about 20wt% of SiC whisker to a mixture solution of a blending ratio of 90-92:8-10 of Ni:P is maintained at a temperature of 90-95 deg.C, and the bobbin main body 1a is immersed therein for 5min, thereby, Ni-P alloy layer as a matrix material is formed on the surface of the bobbin main body 1a and at the same time, the SiC whisker is dispersed and precipitatedin the alloy layer to form a plating layer 1b. |
