PURPOSE:To measure the heat function accurately in auricular fibrillation by imaging a heat pool image based upon the correlation between the volume of the cardiac ventricle and heat. CONSTITUTION:The output of a scintillation camera 7 in a specific phase within one heat beat corresponds to the volume of the cardiac ventricle and the output of a counter 7 in the period of, for example, an R wave signal corresponds to the volume of the cardiac ventricle in an expansion period. The output frequency distribution of the counter 7 is generated previously and the output of the counter 7 is grouped, so that the volume of the cardiac ventricle in the specific phase is divided into plural groups. For example, when the output of the counter in some specific phase in some beat is a certain value, the value belongs to one of the plural groups. Therefore, one kind among image buffers 41-45 is selected corresponding to the group, image storage within one beat period is performed by this image buffer, and a heat function parameter is calculated by an image computer 11 by using data read out of the buffer. This data is obtained for every volume of cardiac ventricle, so the parameter is accurate.
