PURPOSE:To indicate a direction in which a lens to be checked is moved together with a quantity proportional to deviation between the shift between a measuring machine and the lens by obtaining a position shift signal propor tional to the direction and extent of the shift in optical axis between an optical measurement system and the lens. CONSTITUTION:The optical measurement system 1, an arithmetic processor 2, a display switch 3, the 1st display driving device 4, and the 1st display device 5 constitute an automatic lens meter A. Signals corresponding to the refracting power D, prism quantity P, and prism base direction gamma are inputted to the microcomputer (MC) 6 for position shift detection. The position shift signal indicating the position shift is inputted from the MC 6 to the 2nd display driving device 7 which drives the 2nd display device 8. Thus, the direction in which the lens is moved is displayed together with the quantity proportional to the shift between the optical axis of the measuring machine and the optical axis of the lens. |
