PURPOSE:To measure a filling rate in a vessel by measuring the 1st pressure when gas in the vessel is discharged at the time of emptiness and when the filling material is flowed in and the time until specified gas is flowed in the vessel and attains the 2nd pressure respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a tank 1 is made airtight and the inside air is discharged and a measuring liquid 9a attains the position of (b), namely, the 1st pressure, the discharge of the air is stopped. Then, the air is flowed in the tank 1 in a negative-pressure state. Then, the time T0 is measured with a stopwatch simultaneously when the liquid 9a attains the position of (c), namely, the 2nd pressure. Then, after crude oil A is flowed in the tank, a valve 4 is closed to make the tank airtight. Then, when the air in the tank 1 is discharged and the liquid 9a falls to the position of (b), a valve 14 is closed and a three-way valve 11 is changed over to make the air flow in the tank 1. At the same time, the stopwatch is operated and when the liquid 9a returns to the position of (c), namely, the 2nd pressure, the watch is stopped to measure the time T1. After that, the time T2 is measured everytime the crude oil is discharged in the same order and the filling rate of othe crude oil A can be calculated from the difference among T0, T1, and T2.
