PURPOSE:To improve the selectivity of using mode to enhance an operability and to easily respond the increase and change or the like of selecting function of appliances by separating a display device into a picture image display device driving section and a signal processing section incorporating a television tuner therein to be removable and having the construction connecting by a signal cable. CONSTITUTION:A picture image display device driving section 11 and a function selecting signal processing section 12 are separately and individually constituted and connected by a connecting means 13. The picture image display device driving section 11 comprises a display device CRT111, a deflecting circuit 112, a power amplifier 113 as a sound output means, a speaker 114, a headphone jack 115 or the like. The signal processing section 12 comprises a television tuner 121, a video signal processing circuit 122 for selecting and processing various types of video signals, amplifiers 123, 124 as processing circuits as a sound system and a microcomputer 125 for controlling the processing circuits. The connecting means 13 removably mounts the signal processing section 12 to the picture image display device driving section 11 and has a construction performing a connection by a signal cable 131.
