PURPOSE:To measure the temperature of a rotating body with high accuracy and reliability by incorporating only a temperature sensor in the rotating body, and leading out and processing the detection output of the temperature sensor element. CONSTITUTION:When the rotating body 1 is heated by friction or magnetic resistance, etc., as it rotates, its heating temperature causes the temperature sensor element 2 incorporated in the rotating body 1 to vary in electric constant. Further, the variation in electric constant varies the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit of a high frequency oscillator 15 which includes the element 2 and the 1st and the 2nd capacitors 13 and 14 as components. The varying frequency of nthe oscillator 15 which varies with the temperature of the element 2 is compared with a reference frequency from a reference oscillator 16 and detected to discriminate their phase difference, so that the temperature value of the rotating body 1 is displayed on a display circuit 18. |
