PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of data on the way of setting before switching even if one process is switched to another process, by providing registers where private bit and process number are held for every page of a main storage. CONSTITUTION:The private bit is outputted to a signal line 51, and the private process number is outputted to a signal line 52. The signal on the signal line 51 is compared with a signal on an R/W control line 53, and a comparator 13 is driven to compare the signal on the process number signal line 52 with the process number of an executing process, which is set to a memory control register 6, only when the private bit is ''L'' and the signal on the line 53 is a write signal. If the process number on the signal line 52 and the process number of the executing process do not coincide with each other, the comparator 13 transmits a main storage access error signal to a signal line 54 to inhibit the output of physical address from an adder 10. Simultaneously, the occurrence of main storage access error is reported to CPU. |
