PURPOSE:To prepare light-weight pallets without deformation of aggregate by a method wherein pallet legs having projecting engaging pins are set in a mold, the mold is filled with hard plastic foam liquid material, then, honeycomb aggregate is set, expanded and hardened in the mold. CONSTITUTION:The pallet legs 2 each of which is composed of hard plastic foam and provided with engaging pin 2a with a projecting end and a buried end are set to the specified positions in the cavity of a mold 3. The cavity of the mold 3 is filled uniformly with hard plastic foam liquid material 1a'. A honeycomb aggregate 1b is arranged in the mold 3 so that each engaging pin is located at the cavity 1b' of the aggregate 1b or the encircled by the honeycomb wall. The mold 3 is covered by the cover body 4 and hard plastic foam liquid material is expanded and hardened to provide the pallet body 1. |
