PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing cinnarizine cyclodextrin clathrate compound and phenylalanine as essential components. CONSTITUTION:Phenylalanine (e.g. DL-phenylalanine) is added to a clathrate compound consisting of cinnarizine and a cyclodextrin (especially preferably beta- or gamma-cyclodextrin), and the above components are used as essential components of the objective absorption-promoted cinnarizine composition effective for the remedy of various diseases of cerebral circulation. The molar ratio of cinnarizine to the cyclodextrin is 1:2 in the case of beta-cyclodextrin and is 1:1 in the case of gamma-cyclodextrin. It can be administered orally in the form of powder, granule, tablet, capsule, etc.
