PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material enhanced in color reproductivity and suppressed in yellow staining of not color forming parts against light by incorporating a combination of a specified compd. and a 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzotriazole deriv. in at least one of a photographic constituent layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one photographic constituent layer formed on a silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a combination of the compd. represented by formula [I] (Z is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form an optionally substd. N-contg. hetero ring, X is a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent, and R is H or a substituent) and a 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzotriazole deriv. and said coupler of formula [I] is used usually, in an amt. of 1X10<-3>-1, preferably, 1X10<-2>-8X10<-1>mol per of silver halide, or in combination with another kind of magenta coupler. As said triazole deriv., any kind of compd. having a structure of a 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)benzotriazole can be used. |
