PURPOSE:To unitize a seat cushion depth regulating mechanism in structure as well as to secure an assembled body and a technique of interchangeability, by coupling at least one side of a symmetrical pair of frames at both fixed and movable sides, with a horizontal member. CONSTITUTION:A symmetrical pair of movable side frames 24a and 24b are supported on a symmetrical pair of fixed side frames 22a and 22b of a seat cushion depth regulating mechanism 20 supporting a seat cushion frame shiftably in both front and rear directions. These frames 22a, 22b, 24a and 24b at both fixed and movable sides are coupled with vertical and horizontal members 21a, 21b, 23a and 23b at their front and rear ens parts. Rotation of a pinion 25 to be engaged with a rack 26 of the movable side frame 24b is selectively restricted by latch claws 36a and 36b of a lock mechanism 30. With this constitution, the seat cushion depth regulating mechanism 20 is unitized in a rectangular form so that an assembling property is improved.
