PURPOSE:To stabilize triboelectrification amt., to make a distribution of triboelectrification amt. sharp and constant, and to enable the triboelectrification amt. to be adapted to the developing system to be used,by incorporating a specified org. tin compd. in an electrostatic charge image developing toner. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic toner to be used for developing an electrostatic charge image contains the org. tin compd. represented by the formula shown on the right in which R, R' are each 1-24C alkyl, cyclic alkyl, aryl, or aralkyl. This toner can be used for development of all the electrostatic charge images, and it is uniform in the triboelectrification amt. between the toner particles themselves, and its amt. can be easily controlled. It can be prevented from degradation during use, and accordingly, fluctuation and decrease of the amt. due to degradation can be eliminated to maintain it extremely stable, thus permitting trouble, such as development fog, toner scattering, staining of the electrophotographic sensitive material, the copying machine, etc., to be eliminated, agglomeration and blocking of the toner, lowering of fluidizing temp. of the toner during storage to be prevented, and the toner to be resistant to long storage, and superior in abrasion resistance of a toner image, fixability, and adhesiveness, too. |
