The invention relates to a device making it possible to considerably reduce the volume of tall (rising) boots, characterised in that it comprises: a valve located at the top and at the rear of the tall (rising) part. The boot consists of a sole and of an inflatable top part, produced with a hermetic double wall. Use takes place by blowing via the valve and sealing it. After use, it suffices to remove the stoppers from the valves and to fold down the top part onto the sole in order to deflate the boot. <IMAGE>
