发明名称 PRESSURE COMPENSATION TYPE PROPELLER DYNAMOMETER FOR CAVITATION WATER TANK
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the thrust value of a real propeller shaft without requiring correction work, by constituting the titled power meter so that the thrust generated in the propeller shaft generated by the differential pressure between the water pressure in a water tank and atmospheric pressure can be automatically corrected in a detector. CONSTITUTION:When a propeller power meter 1 is mounted to the measuring device in a cavitation water tank, air in an internal space 5a is exhausted to the outside from an air opening hole 15b. When a drive mechanism 8 is operated by a motor, a torque detection part 18, a thrust detection part 19 and a propeller shaft 3 are integrally rotated through a follower shaft 20. Whereupon, the water in the internal space 5a of pressure compensation bellows 5 is discharged from the opening hole 15b by centrifugal force and the effect of centrifugal force is eliminated. Because the pressure receiving surfaces of the pressure compensation bellows 5 and hermetically closing bellows 6 are set same,the thrust acting on the pressure compensation bellows 5 becomes same to that acting on the hermetically closing bellows 6 and both thrusts act in opposite directions to each other to be negated and, therefore, thrust is accurately calculated without being subjected to the effect of water pressure.
