PURPOSE:A reactor that has a catalyst fixed bed which is formed by impregnat ing a porous substance with a complex composite containing a metal complex capable of forming a complex together with oxygen and unsaturated hydrocarbons, thus enabling high-efficiency oxidation of unsaturated hydrocarbons with oxygen. CONSTITUTION:The objective reactor is provided with a fixed bed which is formed by impregnating a porous substance with a catalyst solution of a complex: MmXn.Ll (M is a transition metal in group I, IV-VII and iron family in group VIII; X is anion; L is organic phosphorus compound) which form an oxygen complex with oxygen and another complex of M'm'X'n'.L'l' (M' is platinum metal in group VIII; L' is nitrile, organofluorine compound, organophosphorus compound) which forms a complex with an unsaturated hydrocarbon. An unsaturated hydrocarbon and oxygen are fed 15 to the reactor 14 to effect continuous oxygen absorption, catalytic oxidation and separation of oxidation products, the product is condensed in the condenser 13 and the purified oxidation product is taken out of the system and the separated unreacting hydrocarbon 8 is circulated to the reactor 14. |
