PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of noise and vibration by a method in which the ground below the whole width of a cut-off plate is excavated by an excavating blade provided to the tip of a rotary rod, and a pulling force is applied on the lower end of the cut-off plate through a rod provided to a casing. CONSTITUTION:A cut-off plate 9 is lifted up along the side of a rod 6, and the lower end of the plate 9 is coupled from below to a hook metal 8. A rotary rod 2 is turned, and the ground below the nearly all width of the plate 9 is excavated by excavating blades 4 and 4'. The whole weight of the device is made to act on the lower end of the plate 9 through the rod 6, and the plate 9 with the device is penetrated into the ground. When the tip of the rod 2 reaches a specified depth, the rod 6 is lowered by operation of the cylinder device 7 and the plate 9 is penetrated to the specified depth. |
