PURPOSE:To prevent the heat radiation from the membrane surface, maintain a pleasant room environment and save energy by a constitution in which water is sprinkled from sprinkler heads disposed around the membrane-structured roof, and the sprinkled water is recovered to a water tank through a drain pipe, etc. CONSTITUTION:In this constitution, water is supplied from a tank 1 via sprinkler pipe 3 to sprinkler heads 4, and the sprinkled water from the sprinkler heads 4 to the membrane-structured roof 5 is recovered to the water tank 1 for subsequent sprinkling, such process being repeated. The sprinkler pipe 3 has in its horizontal part a strainer 6 to prevent a clogging of the sprinkler heads 4, and a check valve 7 in its vertical part to prevent the reversal flow of water. Another strainer 12 is disposed before the water tank 1 to filter the water passing the roof, gutter, etc. of any foreign materials prior to recovering the water into the tank 1. The rain water falling on the roof is recovered to the water tank 1 by the same way as the sprinkled water. The sprinkling of water is performed by various means as the situation requires so as to control the temperature of the membrane surface within an appropriate range.
