PURPOSE:To make a computer recognize coordinates on a board body which moves on a conveying table, by connecting a pulse generator which generates two kinds of pulses having different phases depending on the conveying direction of said board body, to a driving motor for conveying said board body. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator 14 connected to the driving motor 13 of a conveying table 11 generates pulses of two phases A, B which are different depending on the rotating directions of the motor 13, at a frequency proportionate to the revolution speed of the motor 13, i.e., the conveying speed of the board body 12. A pulse detector 15 operates in a direction in which the count of its self-contained pulse counter is increased with respect to the phase A while in a direction in which it is reduced with respect to the phase B, to generate interrupt signals for a computer 16 when a certain count is reached. Since these interruptions are separately generated from two counters, the coordinate positions corresponding to these signals can be independently recognized.
