<p>PURPOSE:To control a plate width in an aiming plate width with high accuracy by correcting a vertical roll position, using a plate width surveyed value at an inlet side of a vertical roll and the influence sensibility led out of the deformation in the plate with at a vertical roll and horizontal roll. CONSTITUTION:The influence sensibility GM on the plate width at the outlet side of the horizontal roll 3 according to the variation in the plate width at the inlet side of the vertical roll 2 and the influence sensibility GE on the plate width at the outlet side of the horizontal roll 3 according to the variation in the vertical roll 2 position are operated when various set value and estimated value on a metal blank 1 are given to an influence sensibility calculating device14 from a setter 8. On arrival of the blank 1 at the plate with a plate width gage 4 of the vertical roll 2 inlet side, the plate width surveyed value is stored in a memory device 5a and the vertical roll position is controlled by calculating the corrected position of the vertical roll by the vertical roll position calculating device 6, using the surveyed value and influence sensibility GW, GE.</p> |
