The tyre according to the invention has an essentially annular hose body made of elastomer material, a belt-like reinforcement and a tread component. In this arrangement, a hose body which is free of any reinforcement inlays or elements is provided with at least one coreless bead area. The areas of the hose body which form the side walls of the tyre have wall thicknesses which increase viewed from the tread component in the direction of the bead area. The belt-like reinforcement is of buckle-proof design in the circumferential direction and of flexible design in the radial direction.
