PURPOSE:To more uniformalize the temp. characteristics of a thermal head, by forming preheating data from printing data before two lines and performing the control of the voltage applying time corresponding to the preheating data before and after an actual printing data line to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:P shows a printing data and N shows a line concerned to be printed and (N+1) shows data before one line and (N+2) shows data before two lines. A character (a) is the voltage applying time in the case of single data when printing data are absent in the lines (N+1), (N+2) and a character (b) is the voltage applying time when printing data is presence in the (N+1) line and a character (c) is the voltage applying time when printing data is present in the (N+2) line and a character (d) is the voltage applying time when printing data are continuously present in the lines (N+1), (N+2). By this constitution, voltage applying timing is controlled by the continuous state of the printing data before two lines and, therefore, the temp. characteristics of a thermal head can be uniformized. |
