A device for fire-retardent bushing of cables or the like through orifices which are provided in walls, ceilings and floors, having a rectangular frame (2, 3, 4, 5) which can be anchored in the wall or the like and in which packing elements, which are constructed with channels, can be used for holding the cables or the like and which can be fixed in their position by means of compression spindles, the free space which is surrounded by the frame (2, 3, 4, 5) being divided into a plurality of zones by means of webs (20, 21) which are at right angles to the plane of the frame. In this case, the webs are formed by tubular elements (20, 21), preferably having a cross-section in the form of an elongated hole. <IMAGE>
