What is described is a flat-silo milling cutter which is operated by means of a front-loader or rear fork of an agricultural vehicle with hydraulics or as combined with a rear-loader or front-loader shovel of such a vehicle and which has a round disc driven by motor and rotating about an axis arranged perpendicularly to the disc, the outer circumference of the disc being equipped with knife blades which are arranged at an angle of 90-45 DEG relative to the plane of rotation of the disc, and the disc being fastened with its rotary axle to a supporting frame, in such a way that the working surface of the disc formed by the knife blades essentially faces the ground in the working position.
