PURPOSE:To make possible the easy resistance welding of a laminated plate and metallic plate without melting the resin layer of the laminated plate by raising a flange by burring to the metallic plate to be joined to the laminated plate, inserting the flange into the aperture opened to the laminated plate then welding the two plates. CONSTITUTION:The metallic plate 3 is welded to the laminated plate 1 formed by interposing the resin layer 1c between metallic plates 1a and 1b in this method. The cylindrical flange 31 is formed by burring near the edge end of the plate 3 after boring of a prepd. hole. On the other hand, the aperture 11 through which the flange 31 can pass is bored near the end edge of the plate 1. The plate 1 and the plate 3 are superposed and after the flange 31 is inserted into the aperture 11, an electrode rod 5a for welding is pressed to the surface of the plate 1a of the plate 1. The other electrode rod 5b is pressed to the flange 31 and electricity is conducted between the rods 5a and 5b to weld the two plates through the contact part between the inside circumferential wall 13 of the plate 1a and the outside circumferential wall 33 of the flange 31. |
