PURPOSE:To display a program executing position at a flow chart and to shorten a tracing processing time by program-analyzing the position on the flow chart corresponding to the pattern information (the flow chart of the program) and the address of the program. CONSTITUTION:A source program is converted to several types of the flow chart block pattern by a program analyzing processing, and transmitted to a program tracing device 20. Thus, at a monitor television 26 of the device 20, the flow chart of the source program is divided and displayed. In such a case, the color such as a starting symbol applied to the program is changed and displayed. The position on the flow chart corresponding to the pattern information (the flow chart of the program) and the address of the program is provided by the program analyzing processing, transmitted an stored to the device 20. Thus, the program executing position can be displayed at the flow chart and the tracing processing time can be shorted. |
