PURPOSE:To absorb vibrations generated by impact with an outer periphery of a platen roller and to prevent its transmission from the outer periphery to the rotation shaft by providing plural number of arms to support the both ends of the outer periphery of cylindrical shape which is formed with a hard elastic material. CONSTITUTION:A core material is consisting of an outer cylinder 1A of a cylindrical shape and a rotation shaft 1B and a plural number of arms 1C which comes out like spokes from the shaft 1B to support the outer cylinder 1A by the shaft B at the both ends of the outer cylinder 1A; and the hard elastic layer 2 which is circumferentially provided around the outer cylinder 1A of the core material 1 is made of rubber or resin etc. Thus, on the platen roller 3, the vibrations generated by impact of a printing hammer is, first, decreased by the hard elastic layer 2, and since the outer cylinder 1A has a hollow and is fixed and supported to and by the rotation shaft 1B with the arms 1C at both ends, the decreased vibrations are attenuated without a resonance in the hollow, resulting in no noise generation being discharged to the outside. |
