PURPOSE:To enable an accurate management and/or a tracking of commodities or informations by providing a transfer means to and from an input means and a personal computers, and in addition, a memory means of the data; and by permitting to make decisions through comparison of these data. CONSTITUTION:A printer 1 receives from a personal computer 32 a slip number B of a baggage and its receiver's code as data, and the data are stored in a fixed memory region M1 of a memory circuit 30. An assorting worker scans the bar codes of the slip number on the baggage with a pen scanner 11, and puts the codes into the printer 1. The data are stored in a fixed memory region M2 of the memory circuit 30. Incidentally, the input data may be confirmed by the indication of a display 7. Then, a conformity or non-conformity between the data from the personal computer and the data just read may be decided upon, and if they are in agreement, a control circuit puts out printing command signal, and the receiver's code is printed on a label L and the label L is released from a mount S and sent out from the equipment. It is pasted on the baggage for assortment by the worker to be shipped to the proper destination. |
