PURPOSE:To easily exchange a pallet in a large size, by arranging the moving direction of a pallet mounting bed crossing at a right angle with a transfer direction of the pallet and providing a rack in a reverse surface of the pallet in its transfer direction while a pinion in the side end of a pallet base in a machine. CONSTITUTION:A pallet mounting bed 22 is horizontally moved on a fixed based 21 so that a guide rail 24 is positioned on a guide rail line of a pallet base 15. Next, a pallet P1, being transferred on the guide rail 24 by a pinion 16 and a rack 25, is locked by a cylinder 36 actuating a locating shaft 31. Next, a pallet P2, being transferred to an exchange position by moving the pallet mounting bed 22, is unlocked by the cylinder 36 extracting the locating shaft 31. Next the pallet P2 is moved to a side of the pallet base 15 by engaging the pinion 16 with the rack 25 to be driven. Accordingly, the pallet in a large size and in heavy weight can be promptly and surely exchanged. |
