PURPOSE:To feed a material to a specified position of a metal die surely using a simple mechanism by constructing a feed plate with a material receiver to repeat a return-rise-go-down cycle automatically in accordance with up-and-down motion of a press ram. CONSTITUTION:A feed mechanism 16 is such that the feed plate 21 supported by upper and lower sliders 25 is driven by a feed cam 23 and an auxiliary cam 24 performing up-and-down motion with the press ram integrally. The up-and-down motion of the cam23 makes a driving body 26 of the plate 21 and the cam 31 for the sliders 25 move back and forth respectively and independently; and the up motion of the cam 24 transfers the cam 31. In operation, the plate 21 repeats the return-rise-go-down motion to deliver a material 50 to be worked from the material receiver 22 to the metal die 11. Thus the pressing equipment with the feed mechanism by which the material 50 is transferred to the specified position of the metal die is obtained.
