摘要 The precision forging machine for the internal profiling of tubular workpieces has a clamping head (18) and a counter-holder (20) for workpiece clamping, the clamping head (18) being rotatable and taking the workpiece (22) along in rotation. Also provided is a mandrel (24) which can be inserted in an offset manner into the workpiece (22) and, in a first processing phase can be halted in a fixed location between the tools in the processing zone with its forward part (24') and can then be taken along by the moving workpiece (22) until an inner shoulder has formed and which, in a further processing phase, can be displaced, taking the workpiece along with it and enabling back-flow of the material. In the first processing phase, in which the small cross-section is forged, workpiece feeding is accomplished by means of a slide (16) which can be displaced on a machine bed (14). Arranged on the slide (16) are a pressure application cylinder (32) and a mandrel feed cylinder (34) which, with the slide (16) halted, perform the workpiece feeding and the rotation of the workpiece in the phase in which the portion of largest internal diameter is formed. These two hydraulic cylinders simultaneously guarantee back-flow of the material during this processing phase. <IMAGE>
