<p>A tray loader includes a rail (14) fixed to, say, the load compartment of a vehicle. The rail has a rail part (31) which can roll horizontally therealong, which part in turn has a traveller horizontally rollable therealong. The traveller carries post (16) comprising telescoping parts (58, 60). A single flexible means (eg chain 83), aided by the actuation of catches between the rail parts, between part (31) and the traveller, and between the post (16) and the rail, causes extension of the rail followed by lowering of the lower end of the post (with its attached tray 18) or sequential movements in the reverse direction.</p> |
