PURPOSE:To make improvements in safety in a grinding job, by installing an eccentric ring rotatably in a case, while making it contact with a lever which presses an air quantity regulating valve with the outer circumferential device. CONSTITUTION:An air quantity regulatinv valve 6 is operated when a lever 5 is pressed in a C direction, but if a rotating position of an eccentric ring 7 is set down to a position where an eccentric outer circumferential part 7b hits the lever 5 via a snap engagement a steel ball 15 energized by a spring 14 and plural grooves 12 of the case 11, this lever 5 becomes unoperatable. Therefore, even if an air hose is connected to it, a chuck 2 will not rotate so that the eccentric ring 7 functions as a safety device. And, if a set screw 10 is clamped at this position, the eccentric ring 7 is locked. On the other hand, if the eccentric ring 7 is situated so as to make a minimum eccentrical outer circumferential part 7c possible to contact with the lever 5, the air quantity regulating valve 6 is made pressable at the maximu, whereby turning force of the chuck 2 comes to the maximum. Thus, safety in a pneumatic grinder is improvable. |
