PURPOSE:To enable to perform adjustment of a mold thickness and mold clamping force upon fixing of a mold to an injection molding machine, by providing a rear platen position deciding device determining a rear platen position through a value detected by a rear platen position detecting device and the preset mold clamping force. CONSTITUTION:One side mold 1 and the other side mold 3 are fitted respectively to a front platen 2 and moving platen 4. The front platen 2 is fitted to an end of four pieces of tie bars 5, the other ends of the tie bars 5 each are provided with a rear platen 6, a toggle mechanism 7 composed of two sets of toggle links 8, 8' are provided between the rear platen 6 and moving platen 4, the moving platen 4 is driven by the toggle mechanism 7 and provided on the tie bars 5 so as to enable to slide on the tie bars 5. The titled device is so constituted that the movement of the rear platen 6 is detected by a pulse encoder Pa provided on a servomotor Ma as a rear platen position detecting device. Differences among movement instructions and movements of the servomotors Ma, Mb detected by the encoders Pa, Pb are calculated by error registers 41a, 41b, which are converted into analog voltage as a speed instruction value. |
