PURPOSE:To reduce a support counterforce to be applied to a york and reduce noises to be generated from a wire dot printer by providing a weight to the other end of a leaf spring to which an armature is fixed. CONSTITUTION:An armature 2 and a leaf spring 3 are fixed together by means of brazing, and a weight 14 is provided to the other end of the leaf spring 3. The weight 14 is made of a metal block etc., and is joined to the leaf spring 3 with nuts and bolts or by brazing etc. When a wire 1 is not working, the leaf spring 3 is bent towards the york 4 by a printing force adjusting screw 8. The weight 14 is located farther than the printing force adjusting screw 8 from the side of the armature 2 and hardly contributes to the bending of the leaf spring. The structural gravity center of the wire 1, the armature 2, and the lever 3 comes near to the portion of the leaf spring 3 within the armature 2, by the weight 14 and the point of impact approaches to the support, too. If the weight of the weight 14 is increased, the point of impact and the support are liable to come nearer. |
