Arrangement for electronic insertion of signals in home video recorders

In an arrangement for electronically inserting signals in home video recorders in which the video information is recorded in helically extending video tracks by the rotating video heads and the sound information is also recorded on the video tracks by rotating sound heads which lead the video heads in the track scanning, and in which some of the information recorded on the helical tracks is erased and then new information is inserted into the erased helical tracks, it is proposed that the recorded information is erased by means of the rotating sound heads.
