A rotating washing brush (10) is constructed as a pan brush (11) and is driven via an annular gearwheel mounted in the brush housing (27) by a pinion (42) which receives its driving force via a flexible shaft (50) which rotates at high speed. The washing brush (10) is surrounded by an extractor hood (56) which extracts the washing liquid, fed centrally to the pan brush (11), towards the outside and conveys it away through a negative pressure line (64). <IMAGE>
