PURPOSE:To easily control the slip and stepless speed change by providing a magnet generating the magnetic field in the radial direction inside the first clutch member space storing a magnetic fluid and the rotor of the second clutch member inside it. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 4 or an electromagnet generating the magnetic field in the axial direction is arranged in the first clutch member 1 storing in its inner space the rotor 8 of the second clutch member 2 rotatable via a bearing 6 and having ruggedness on its end face and a magnetic fluid 3. The permanent magnet 4 is arranged on the groove 13 of a support body 12 slidably with a drive bar 11. Thereby, the clutch members 1, 2 are engaged or disengaged depending on the presence of the magnetic field. Accordingly, the clutch can be gradually made on or off via the adjustment of the magnetic field, and the mutual slip and stepless speed change power transmission can be easily controlled. |
