PURPOSE:To carry out gravure and offset printing with one printing machine and reduce the printing time and the working amount, by connecting a gravure unit to an offset printing unit in a unitary body. CONSTITUTION:The first color gravure is printed on the back surface of the paper piled on a paper feed part 1. The said paper is dropped on the feed board 7 of the second color facing the surface of the said paper upward and the second color gravure is doubly printed on the first color. Then, the paper is transferred by being pinched between an impression cylinder 18 and a blanket cylinder 20 and the offset printing of the third color is printed over the first and the second gravures on the back surface of said paper. When the paper is transferred by being pinching between the impression cylinder 18 and the blanket cylinder 20 of the second offset printing unit 5, the fourth color offset is printed over the first, the second and the third color printings. Unitary body and gravure and offset printing can be carried out with one printing machine.
