PURPOSE:To prevent water hammering in the captioned flow passage changeover device and to aim at miniaturizing said device, by opening and closing a second switching valve through pressure generated in opening and closing a first switching valve. CONSTITUTION:An inflow passage 1 is branched into the first flow passage 2 and the second flow passage 3, and then the first passage 2 is provided with the first switching valve 4 which is opened and closed by external driving means 5, 6. And further, the second flow passage 3 is provided with the second switching valve 10 which is opened and closed by force in the downstream side form the first switching valve 4. Owing on this constitution, water hammer ing can be prevented and the changeover between the both passage is performed by one external driving means so that it is possible to miniaturize said passage changeover device.
