Oven to be set up in the open air

An oven to be set up in the open air, e.g. in the garden, having a baking space which can be heated by an open fire, is characterised by a base plate, on which a baking space which takes the form of a dome and four vertical side walls made of stones are constructed, two of the side walls having the shape of sets of house gables, one of the said sets of house gables having a laterally arranged baking space opening, and by a pointed gabled roof which covers the side walls and the baking space. A mixture of expanded clay and mortar is applied in a layer to the domed top of the baking space, and the pointed gabled roof is seated on the said layer.
