PURPOSE:To make fuel gas in a fuel electrode uniform and to maintain stable power generation over a long period by allowing the fuel gas to flow into two passages which are different courses. CONSTITUTION:A fuel cell body 11 is constituted to form a rectangular shape in the whole by laminating a plurality of unit cells 12 through a separator element 13. In the laminated fuel cell body 11, a small-sized manifold for introducing and exhausting fuel gas P is disposed in the lower surface of the laminated fuel cell body, and a manifold for introducing an oxidizing agent gas Q is disposed in the A surface, and a manifold for exhausting the oxidizing agent gas Q is disposed in the A' surface. The fuel gas from the small-sized manifold advances the central passage S for introduction toward an upper side of a laminated direction, and the gas is distributed into the grooves 36 of respective fuel gas passage forming plates 25 on the way of the advancing. The fuel gas P which is introduced into these grooves 36 advances the first passage toward the B surface from the central portion of the fuel cell and the second passage toward the B' surface from the central portion, respectively, in a reverse direction, and on the way of the advancing, the gas is supplied to an anode plate 22 through the fine hole of a punch metal 26. |
