PURPOSE:To remove crushing accidents between a magnetic disk and a magnetic head which may be caused by dust by forming a packing on the peripheral edge of an opening part of a casing so that the coupling part of the casing with a cover is closed and arranging a filter on the inside of the packing so as to inscribe with the casing and the cover. CONSTITUTION:A notched step part 10 is formed on the peripheral edge of the opening part 1a of the casing 1 and the packing 7 is arranged on the notched step part 10 so that the coupling part of the casing 1 with the cover 6 is closed and the filter 8 is inscribed with the casing 1 and the cover 6 so as to prevent the casing 1 from the entry of dust from a portion of the packing 7 which is not completely closed to the inside of the casing 1 and tightly ad hered to the inside of the packing. Consequently, dust to be entered from the coupling part of the casing 1 with the cover 6 into the casing 1 is temporalily interrupted. Dust to be entered from a slight gap generated between the packing 7 and the cover 6 into the casing is completely filtered by the filter 8.
