<p>An insert spring is arranged to have symmetrical extensions (46, 47, 52, 54) at each end thereof and which flanges (12, 14) are formed. The flanges (14) engage chamfers (20) on the coupling sleeve splines (22) to bias a baulk ring (26, 27) into engagement with a gear (28, 29) until the chamfers (20) slip past the flanges (14) and bias the extensions (46, 52, 54) laterally inward in a symmetrical manner which obviates any <<jamming>> of the coupling sleeve (24).</p> |
