PURPOSE:To obtain a facsimile picture of high reliability by providing a coding- error recovering device in a facsimile storage device, executing error-check of a picture information transmitted with the recovering device, and thereby storing picture information whose errors are recovered. CONSTITUTION:The facsimile picture information transmitted from a facsimile transmission terminal equipment 1 is stored in a facsimile storage device 3, which thereafter is outputted to the coding-error-recovering device 4. The device 4 executes the error-correction on the picture information, and the picture information corrected of its errors is transmitted to the facsimile storage device 3, where the said information is stored. In the device 3, the picture information before the error-correction is deleted, and it later transmits the error-corrected picture information to the facsimile reception terminal 2.
