The invention relates to an electrical supply system by means of a plinth rail replacing the electric plinths and permitting the supply at every point of the circuit by means of a connector forming part of the system. The device consists of conductors (1) and (2), an insulating sleeve (3) and a plinth rail (4); it may receive a cover (7), flat-pin connectors may establish contact with the conductors (1) and (2) and may be fixed to the rail in the housing of the cover (7) interrupted locally for this purpose. Pins (9) provide the electrical continuity of the plinth rail, when it is made of metal, and produce the earth line. The device is intended for the electrification of industrial, commercial or domestic premises. <IMAGE>
