PURPOSE:To maintain an abnormality detecting function at any time by performing mutual abnormality detection by using information on both signals. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of amplifiers 1 and 2 for the 1st and the 2nd signals Ss and Sc are inputted to plus input terminals of the 1st and the 2nd comparators 3 and 4 and a composite signal Sx based upon the mean value of the 1st and the 2nd signals Ss and Sc is outputted from the connection point b1 of resistances R3 and R4 and inputted to the 3rd and the 4th comparators 6 and 7. The 2nd and the 3rd reference levels VH and VL on both sides of the 1st reference level Sr are outputted from connection points b2 and b3 of resistances R5-R7 which divide the voltage of a positive power source (+V) and inputted to the 3rd and the 4th comparators 6 and 7. the comparison outputs S1 and S2 of the 3rd and the 4th comparators 3 and 4 are inputted to an exclusive OR circuit EX-OR 8 and the comparison outputs S3 and S4 of the 3rd and the 4th comparators 6 and 7 are inputted to a wired-AND circuit 9. Then, the output S5 of the EX-OR 8 and the output S6 of the wired-AND circuit 9 are inputted to an AND circuit 10, which outputs an output error signal S7.
