PURPOSE:To diagnose the operation state of an engine speedily with high- accuracy by analyzing components in exhaust smoke dust successively to the measurement of the density of exhaust smoke. CONSTITUTION:Filter paper 1 adsorbs exhaust smoke dust in an exhaust smoke dust sticking device 4, the density of the exhaust smoke in the exhaust smoke dust sticking on the filter paper 1 is measured by an exhaust smoke dust contamination concentration measuring instrument 5, and the exhaust smoke dust is heated and burnt by a dust burning heater 20. Then, an acid dissolving device 25 dissolves acid to prepare sample liquid, which is passed through a sample pretreat and a stirring and coloring process to analyze components and measure the concentration by a photospectrometer 60. Consequently, the operation state of the engine is grasped accurately and a high-accuracy analysis is taken. |
