PURPOSE:To obtain a light and small vibrationproofing camera without deteriorating an original optical performance and with preventing a picture shaking of wide range by supporting freely and rotatably a photo-graphing lens device against a camera cabinet and correcting a shaking with driving the photographing lens device according to the output of a detecting means which detects the shaking of a lens device. CONSTITUTION:The output of a photoelectric transducer 2 is inputted to a picture shaking detection circuit 8b through a signal process circuit 8a. At this stage, by measuring a correlation between pictures which are shifted with each other for a regulated time, the size and the volume of the picture shaking are detected and a control signal is given to a driving control circuit 8c. The driving control circuit 8c drives, with receiving the signal, motors 5a and 5b in the direction to deny the picture shaking. Therefore, a correction is performed as stated above even when disturbance is put on an outer package member 6 and as a result, so that a lens system 1 and the photoelectric transducer 2 are maintained at a face to face position against an object, a stable picture without shaking is obtained.
